Nearing the End of Summer 2013
It has been such a busy summer! The kids are out of school for another few weeks which is both great and challenging.
When they are home sometimes I get to do things like this:
(The Mishy Colorway used in the Yin KAL with Zen Yarn Garden)
(The newest Desert Vista Dyeworks shawl, this one for the Cogknitive Podcast’s 5th retreat)
But there are other times where we get help with the kids. With respite I am able to work on this:
My next book!
A Trunk Show with Yarnover Truck.
But even with the occasional help it is tough to keep up with everything. My business has evolved and grown so much I am working on projects now that won’t be ready for almost two years. So my to do list grows every longer, not that I’m complaining. I prefer to have too much to do but some days it is tough with kids who are tired of being off of school for the summer.
Regardless of our family end of summer ennui, D says “How YOU doin’?”
And Maya would like to show you that she is a princess with a proper crown.
More on that upcoming book soon!
